Looks decent enough - 151K - many photos - unusual "woodie" vinyl trim - odd answers, I thought.
Now at $425 with reserve not met - 6 days to go.

That trim is known as the "leatherneck edition". I saw one in a wrecking yard a few years ago locally, never saw one before either, appears factory, dealer installed perhaps? Looks like a good buy, perhaps the guy from Maine looking for a Tercel4wd can get it, fly to NC and drive it home in a long day.

You would think the seller would clean the seats and carpet before putting the car on ebay.

Also the ad erroneously reports the mileage and says it's an automatic. Looks like it's in really good shape, could make a body happy if the price stays low. Love the interior (same as mine).

Wood vinyl siding and hood ornaments work on '70's American full sized wagons but not on ours IMHO. But at one time I was going to mock the Fast 'n' Furious crowd and cover my hood in wood vinyl, you can buy it from JC Whitney.
It's a scientific fact that in a twin engine aircraft, when one engine fails there is always enough power in the remaining engine to make it all the way to the crash site.

I've been watching this one, too. I thought it was hilarious that someone stole this car in the 80's. Must not have been a quick getaway. lol

Looks pretty tight. A little dirty...something about it doesn't sit right with me for some reason. Wild price...if it goes to 1500 I might have found my next endeavor.

looks like it is on its way to $1500, likely to go well beyond that. Although the body is in good condition, sounds like it needs a number of mechanical repairs. Why would it getting stolen give it a salvaged title? Even if the insurance paid out on it, that does not mean it was damaged.

It is at 1600 with about 13 hours left. It hasn't met the reserve yet...I don't think it is worth that much. Not without a good title!!

The "title problems" are:
1. Insurance loss title or probable total loss record(s)
2. Rebuilt/rebuildable title record(s)

He should offer a second chance to the person who bid 1600. That ride would go for 800-1000 all day in Colorado.
