Just listed (not mine), looks like a great buy so it will not last long. might just need a trans oil change or top up. Not far from you synth.

http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/cto/2738973517.html

listing reads:

Toyota Tercel SR5 4 x 4, 1986. 150 k. miles
2nd original owner.
Body and interior in good condition.
Car is great in snow and off road. Can't believe Toyota doesn't make these cars any more. Truly a great collector's car for the Toyota enthusiast.
Engine is in good shape and runs fine. All original parts. Transmission runs but makes buzzing sound and will eventually need a rebuild.
Only asking $1200 obo

Boy, you guys in the PacNWST!
What a choice you have in Tercs! Are there as many sedans up thataway as well? I could be tempted on a 5-door.
While there still may be a few in the STL area, I haven't seen another one (wagon or sedan) in well over a year (not that I saw them all that frequently over the past 6 years that I've had Goldie!). I guess it's even worse in the NEST and Upper Midwest.
With some of the looks I've gotten recently, you'd think I was driving a Model A!
