check the craigslist for your area on a regular basis.

Ray,

Welcome to the list! Are you looking for a daily driver, a fixer or a "like new" example? The remaining Tercel4wd out there are getting fewer and fewer, but there is still plenty to get if you are willing to travel. It is a lot easer to find fixers, if you have the skill and willingness to do the repairs. Search craig's list for all the your surrounding areas, keep your eyes open for neglected ones and make the owner an offer. And they sometimes show up here on this list.

All of the ones I have bought are fixers, nine over the years (I have sold six of them so far). I have traveled to other states four times to get the right deal, fixed them and drove them back home and sold them. Good clean drivers are getting costly to buy, shows how well these great little 4wd cars hold their value.
