Re: Tercel SR5 - $2200 (Victoria)
250K always sounds so - BIG! But it's really only 155K miles.
So I guess $2200, whether CAD or USD isn't so bad - well, depending on what the seller's definition of "needs engine work" is.

here's a great little piece regarding metric vs. imperial measuring systems:

back on topic though, $2200 is way too much for my tastes unless it's mint. i'm an admittedly cheap prick though.
i emailed the seller to get some info on the car, here's what i got back:
"Hello,
There is a little rust around the Toyota's wheel wells and here and
there, but overall, not much at all. Also a small (fixed) chip in the
windshield.
It has never been in an accident other than a minor rear-ending at a
stop sign a couple of years ago - which resulted in a new back bumper.
And an anonymous scratch-and-small-dent which appeared in last year.
No tears in the upholstery so far as I know. Is worn (of course!) and
looks somewhat stained is such places. Has a great heater but radio
isn't working at this time.
I think it has an oil leak but no other problems. My son drove it to
Portland and back with no difficulties whatever but I know it is
finding large, long hills a challenge now.
It is my son who is selling it and he is away until Thursday morning.
He has some parts which he would probably be willing to include.
Regards,
L."
