My wifes car was acting up so i took the alternator to get tested and it was bad
so i bought a new one and installed it
car runs fine but alternator light and E brake light are continuously on and pulsing
they slow blink every 10 seconds or so
so thinking it was a bad new alternator i swapped one from another Tercel
same problem
so now i know its not the alternator
so what could it be?

Love those Tercell 4x4 wagons but they sure suffer from road noise.

Well, i waited till the rain stopped (all day) before trying to figure this out
i read up on previous posts related to "alternator"
started the car and the lights came on along with the pulse (blink)
but this time there was a squeek too that coinsided with the pulse
the damn belt was loose
i tightened it up and everything is fine now
How did i manage to do that with two alternators?
