Rare early Toyota Sports car from the Griot's Garage owner's collection.

Image

A Lola, a Lotus, and a Porsche race car in the Griot's museum.

Image

Stock MR2 interior, looks like new. Some day I want my Tercel dash to look like that, been collecting MR2 parts to go with my 4age swap.

Image

A modified MR2 interior.

Image

This is list member Tercel4wdrules '84 that I cleaned up for the show, fully stock, and of course Snyth's champion "monster" Tercel. Two of only 4 total Tercels at this show, list member Oh Canada! owned the other two.

Image

List member Oh Canada!'s latest daily driver (that I sold to him) getting its total make over into an "art" car (just as I feared).

Image
Finished make-over with proud owner in the back ground (the one at the mic).

Image
Poor little tercel, it is sitting there looking very embarrassed.

Image
Oh Canada's other Tercel, a DX work in progress.

Image
Some other Toyota 4x4s at the show, the owner replaced the nice IFS suspension to pine after obsolete leaf spring suspension with solid live front axle. Somehow the owner felt it was a great improvement to disgrace his Toy truck in such a manner.

Image

A nice first gen Toy minivan 4x4, all fixed up for off road adventure.

Image
Very impressively restored Land Cruiser, has a large V8 transplant engine.

Image

Image
Even the under carriage looks good. I wonder if he ever takes it off road, or just to Toy shows.

Image

What has he done to his doors?! I wonder if his car insurance knows about that minor alteration.

Image
4AGE into a RWD corolla. Some day my TErcel will have an engine compartment that looks like that.

Image
Nice engine compartment on one of the newer Toyota car models

Image
Engine compartment on a totally "Green" machine giant frog conversion.

Image
Green-on-Green theme of this green machine. I was told the owner spent $40,000 on the cosmetic conversion of this Scion.

Image
Cars shows like this demonstrate one of the hazards of "men thinking", thinking without supervision.

Image
Vintage Toy

Image
vintage racer

Image
I have no idea what the objective here was, but it sure looks unusual.

Image
One of the hottest cars at the show was not a Toyota at all! IT is a Lotus.

@Petros,
You may believe the solid axle to be out dated, but honestly, you get so much better articulation and durability. Drag an IRS or IFS system over brush and rocks and debris and see how long it lasts. Plus with a Solid Axle front end you get to use words like Burfield and flexout.

This was my Favorite!

The 2GR-FE is Toyota's flag ship V-6

It can be found in almost everything now. Camrys, Rav4s, 4Runners, Highlanders and even in a few Lexus models like the IS350 and ES350 which get direct Inject. Also it's older brother, the 1GR-FE is the flag ship FJ Cruiser engine.

I've already seen an 07 Camry v-6 with 340,000 and the engine is still going strong. I really want to put that engine in my AW11 MR2.
