Alright. Definitely not the PacNW.

Definitely not OZ or NZ either.

These shots were taken from my recent trip to Hawaii. That first photo of the bird is a Honey-creeper (also known as an i'iwi). They were everywhere. All other shots were from all over the island of Maui. I ended up finding an incredible last minute deal to go so my girlfriend and I just went for it. Awesome experience (both beach and volcano hiking!).

my wife and i are heading to hawaii in november 2012. my in-laws have a condo there that they rent out so we will stay there. i'm not sure which island it's on though--i'm pretty ignorant about hawaii in general. how long were you there for?

We were at a cushy resort for 5 days on the west part of Maui (where it's sunny nearly all the time) - but before that we spent two days camping on Mt. Haleakala (it's a US National Park, where it's foggy for half the day nearly every day). Hit me up before you leave if you end up going to Maui. I can give you some tips...
