Has anybody got a part number or photo of the lower suspension ball joints- both of mine on the 86 terc are shot -the rubber seals have split and joints have gone dry ,have greased them but they still clatter and knock- i have found some MR2 (84) joints that look the same- can any of you in terc land point point me in the right direction(thats not a invite to be rude)-dec
ps we have managed to put down the rebellion ,its watercannon and baton rounds next, so the PM says

I am pretty sure the MR2 ball joint is the same part, if not the same it is interchangeable. Most parts stores in the USA can order them, I would think it would be the same on your side of the pond.
Fortunately these ball joints are very long lived, so when you do find replacements, they should last you for a while. I finally had to replace my first one on my daily driver after about 300,000 miles on it. The other one is still good.

thanks petros- thats good, the mr2 one does look the same, i can get them in the uk for 30bucks each -the road to my home in spain is 2miles of pot holes and stones and the past few years with temperatures hitting 40 in the summer have taken hell out of the suspension- the add does say for terc wagon also -its got a sort of figure 8 bolt on patern that looks very like the tercs- im in the uk at the moment will go back spain in late sept where the terc lives-the local town hall have just tarmaced the road to my house only because they have found roman remains on my land---- tarmac thats drag wont be able to get of 4wd drive now,not unless i drive into the ditch-ah well the donkeys still got work to do and wheres that sombrero, hi terquila(hic)- muchos gracias amigo

Mine get rough servcie as well. I drive six miles a day of rough and steep gravel roads, three out and three back in to my house, each day. Ball joints have not really been the problem, but I did trash two sets of struts.
Just keep your Tercel away from the rioters, criminals and other low lifes that your constables can not seem to keep under control.
