no info but seems like a Tercel under the bonnet with a lot of space around the engine.

YUK! They must have something against reliable transportation or are even opposed to "it runs". Does it?

About 10 years ago I read an article from an engine rebuilder that specialized in rotary's. In the article it mentions up to 7 cores are often needed to build one engine. In my experience(20b 3 rotor, same as 13b except with 50% more engine) new parts are incredibly overpriced. Just a new bare rotor costs $500, no side rings or apex seals included. In fact, when we needed to replace just about any part, $500 seemed to be the magic number. Not surprising given almost every part on a RX is stupid expensive. Sure they are neat engines that can produce plenty of power, but durability sucks when compared to a 3ac or most any other engine.

Tortoise and the hare....

Nice clean T4 though.

my reaction was also "why?". a high rpm engine with low torque, poor economy and not much life makes no sense. They typical rebuild life is about 90k miles, and just the rotor seal set is $1600. That is the discount price.

for less money you could like make a very reliable 4age fit, and you get a better engine.
