Need some parts (Fenders and fuel cable)

Post by scotisha »

Hey,

I am hoping that I will get around to the $50 paint job at the end of the summer and i will need a left and right front fender if I want to save myself a bunch of time. Anyone on the Vancouver Island have some fenders that are in decent shape? If not is there a good wrecker that I can go nab some from?

When I had my weber installed, the douche-mechanic cut the gas pedal cable to fit cause he didn't want to use the original bracket. If it is possible I want to put a new gas pedal cable back in and then just do a bit of welding to match the old fuel-cable holder to the the weber arm (there are lots of pics around for this one). If it is possible and not super hard I would like a gas-pedal cable too. (Is there a technical term for that gas pedal cable?).

Thanks,

i think most people call it a throttle cable. also, try calling malahat auto, 250-478-4751. the last time i was there a few months ago they had a topaz T4 but i can't remember what shape the fenders were in. just call and ask them. throttle cables will be cheap from a wrecker, too.

i have a fender that I was going to use for a project but decided otherwise on. If you or anyone close is coming down for ToyotaFest in Tacoma, we can do the deal there.
