What is my car worth? Selling

I have a 1986 Tercel 4WD DL 6 speed for sale. This is a clean, rust-free,128000 original miles Montana car. The body is pretty much straight. There are a few minor door-dings, plus two minor dings on the hood of the car. The interior is very clean, only flaw being minor cracks in each of the front seats. The car runs great, drives great, and the 4WD works great. The clutch and brakes are good, plus I have the original white 13" stock wheels for the car.

looks pretty nice. low kms. i'd say ask $2500, or maybe even try it on eBay. it's a PITA to sell stuff, especially cars on there but you could stand to make substantially more.

Car looks showroom perfect in the pics, even though you say it has a couple of dings. I'm envious! Why are you selling such a nice car? I wish I had the money to buy it from you....

very nice example, you are definitely at the high end of the range. $2500 is reasonable, but depends on the market for your car in your area. Certainly no less than $2200, and some have recently tried to sell examples not as clean as yours for as much as $3500 (but I do not know if they got that much). Ebay is worth a try. You might post it here as well.

I recommend keeping the car and save your money you were going to spend on a new car (save it for any major repairs that may come along on an older car).

Thanks for the responses. Hate to get rid of the car, but I just have too many cars and not enough room for them. $2200-2500 is pretty much what I was thinking the car was worth. May have to go the ebay route since I'm somewhat secluded up here in Montana...
