they're in decent shape but need a good cleaning and would look deadly repainted. i've seen some that user toughtercel has fixed up and they were awesome.

i don't know if any purists are interested in these but i've got an extra set of stock 4WD terc wheels WITH the center caps (oooooooooohhhhhhhh!) if anyone wants them. otherwise they're going to the scrapyard and i just don't feel right about that. they're the blocky ones:

I sure wish you were not so far away, I have been hunting for another set of those wheels. Shipping would be to much for me at the moment. I have several projects going and not enough $$ to cove them..

If you can not find a home for them I might be interested, I have my eyes on two T4wd projects in the next 30 days, one already has these wheels, the other does not. The next time you plan on being on the mainland, or come down to the Toyota meet, bring them.

i could bring them down on the way to burning man but that won't be until the end of august. would that work? i'm afraid i don't leave the island very often. too much city in vancouver and too much cost with bc ferries. anyway, if you can wait then they're yours.

man, you have no idea how much i would love to hit toyotafest but i'm afraid that we may not be down that way that early, and even if we are i don't know how psyched my wife would be on it. she loves toyotas but in more of a utilitarian way, like beating the hell out of hers and never doing any maintenance on it and then marveling at how it continues to serve her faithfully. all that said, i'll talk to her and find out the dates for her vacation time and see if i can sweet talk her. god, i hope emmahumpfritter doesn't see this thread or i'll be in for a serious tongue lashing.
