how to remove headrest retainer?

when you slide the headrest up and out there are still the two plastic retainers left in the seat. does anyone know how to remove these? i've tried prying from a few different angles but they don't seem to want to pop out. i'll keep working on it and post the solution if no one beats me to it.

never mind, i just figured it out. you have to slide the seat cover up to the top of the seat, then from the back you can reach up inside the upper portion of the seat back and feel the bottoms of the headrest retainers. just squeeze them and push up. it's a tight fit to get your hand in there so if you've got baseball mitts for hands, get some neighborhood brat to do it for a bag of chips or something.
