need small side glass

Post by dave88 »

Somebody busted the small glass in the right side rear door of my 85 4wd wagon while attempting to steal my stereo which they destroyed trying to remove.
I am in Auburn, WA, anybody got one locally? Or know a good cheap source online?

Thanks!

try using the broken fingers of the thief that did it. it may not be very functional but it will feel really good every time you look at it.

I've got one, still in the door. I can cut the gasket to remove it, don't know if I can keep the glass intact AND get the gasket too! PM me, we'll talk.

it is not that hard to remove without cutting the gasket, remove the panel on the inside and you loosen the rear window track. It allows enough room to wiggle out the small window.

There is an '83 or 84 Tercel4wd, and an '86 2wd wagon in the Arlington Pull-a-part (now "pick-n-pull"), exit 206 off I-5 (east). You can drive there from Auburn in about an hour or so if you avoid traffic.

Nice, can I install it myself the same way?

The T4wd is Gold with the "peanut butter" color interior, picnic blanket seats (pretty beat though), and the '86 2wd wagon is a light blue/gray if I recall.
