Hi there. My friend had also encounter some broken levers of his heater control. At first, he thought if it's possible just to replace the levers or either fix it in someway but after bringing his car to a workshop, the mechanic who check it suggested replacing the heater control with a new one. So my friend has no choice and had bought this a/c and heater control online. Well, you can try checking that if ever you are still in need of the heater control unit.

if your refering to the levers in the dashboard
after replacing levers put some drops of oil on the water control valve under the hood by the firewall on passenger side
and work that arm back and forth to free it up
that may have been what caused your problem
