Wow, all that silicone would make a good float, or life preserver perhaps (gives you something to hang onto anyway). But I think you are correct David, you could never get one of those in a Tercel.

Yep that the correct design , I would be interest . Now about hot chicks don't like capable yet economical little cars , if her Corvette stuck in the snow or anything in the middle of no where, she'll think twice and hop into clean SR5 seat.
HA about 12 years ago, there was three female strippers who live next door front me ,trying to get her Vette out on the road with 2 inches of snow , it would'nt move then , I walk toward her and ask her "need any help " Yeah push the car " REALLY the rear wheel was spinning 120 MPH without moving an inch ,after 3 times explaining to her about the car problem , nope ,I just way away.

No TT, she would wait for someone younger and better looking to come along in a Porshe Cyan, BMW or Acura SUV. And I suspect would rather die out there in the cold rather than be seen in a Tercel.

synth, if that's you're kind of woman, you better buy a burning man ticket right now--they all look like that out there! i'm not even kidding, actually. PM if you think you're up for hitting it. you're welcome to camp with our crew, it's a friendly bunch of educated freaks, more or less. i'm the exception, being dumb as toast. check out this video of my friends' mechanical spider vehicle they made. as if it couldn't get cooler, they just converted it to electric!

and i'm fully psyched at the prospect of all the tercel stops on the way south this year!

You go for the steam punk look there Snyth? I always thought it would be fun to steam punk out a Tercel4wd, copper pipes sticking out everywhere like they go to something.

petros, i can't believe you're down with the steam punk movement! that's pretty underground stuff, at least i thought so. i only heard about it at burning man a few years ago and then only a few times since. lots of them at BM though.

@DLB , Went to Burning man in 96. It's become quite commercialized now. I didn't pay for a ticket then and feel weird about buying a ticket some 15 years later.

@Petros, Way to be up on a trend. IMO, Steam Punk is for Goths who found out about brown and Victorian design. Either way it's a great community of freaks. And ya, a Steam punk Tercel would be pretty cool.
