Hello
I wonder if my rear springs are too used.
Who would like to measure the height of their Terecl to compare with mine?
height of the wheel arch above the axle
height of the end of the rear door (open)
(with standart tires and flat ground, of course)
thanks
rear springs
There is a thread on "lifting the Tercel" or some other title where the ground clearance measurements are given.
For the rear springs...looks like air shocks are the way to go....there is another thread on that.

Thank you.
With a solid rear axle, ground clearance doesn't depend on the springs.
I've read your posts about Maxair.
I visited Monroe's site and the don't reference air shocks for our Tercels.
So I suppose you fit shocks designed for other models but that have good external dimensions.
As I'm fond of suspensions and road handling, I'd prefer not to fit whatever shocks, matching the springs or not.
As my shocks are still efficient, I'd prefer not to replace them now. (Here parts are expensive, oftenly TEN times more than in the US).
Before sentencing one part or another, I would just like to know Your heights to compare with mine.

About 3 to 4 posts from the bottom of this page are the SPECS for height and how to measure them...and some posts on what height some wagons have....
