please help i love my yota but cant drive it,when cold it will start and run all day but if you shut it off your stuck till it cools off,id love to drive it but dont want to be stranded,any and all help would be appreciated,its an 87 tercel wagon sr5

Does it have spark when it will not restart? Where are you & what is the weather like there now? Does the car do the same not starting when warm thing regardless of ambient weather conditions? How long has the car had this problem?

Does the starter engage and crank the motor w/o starting it when this happens? If no to the previous question, can the car be push started when warm?

where are you at? We need more information, if you are not far from a list member perhaps they can come by and look over your car and see why it is doing that. I could be stater, electrical issue, or fuel system issue. Sound like a fairly easy fix, but we have to find out the cause and you are not providing enough information.
