Goldie's PS pump has leaked from ? forever. No real drips or squirts - just a continual "moisture" on its sides. It might be a tablespoon or two per year, but the stuff collects dirt and is unsightly. There are no leaks from the rack or any of the hoses, so I'm reluctant to mess with anything. It still works fine.
Does anyone have any experience with Gold Eagle PS fluid 'stop leak' or Valvoline PS Fluid for "mature" cars?
Thanks.

Re: Power Steering Pump Leak Remedy
I have had great success with "Lucas" brand ps stop leak And conditioner but only used it when I had a considerable leak from a worn out sector shaft seal. But that being said every 80's Toyota with PS that I have owned weeps a little bit fluid like you explain.
I can not see anything wrong with trying one of those products, just try a small amount at a time to see if it makes any difference.
Cheers bart
