Hey guys, I have scanned and made available all of the USA Tercel brochures from 83-87. You have to head to the site to view them, but here are the covers.
Thanks for your work!
I have a brochure for my '86, but did not keep one for my then-new '83. Memories!
Tom M.
T4WD augury?
"Oh, do not ask, 'What is it?' Let us go and make our visit." T.S. Eliot - "The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock"
"Now and then we had a hope that, if we lived and were good, God would permit us to be pirates." Mark Twain
Matches the one I have for my '87, and Dad's '76 Celica too. I don't think he has the one for the 1990 Corolla he has though. Thanks for putting them up.
I just bought one from a large well know auction site from Japan. Its the Carib brochure from 86 I believe. Shows the Sr5 and the RV Special Woudl this be of any interest to have scanned on here?
"Any car which holds together for an entire race is entirely too heavy" -Colin Chapman
84' DLX with 6 speed (the project beast) 'Tora'
84' SR5 'Tori' (the daily driver)
08' Scion xB
04' Kawasaki Z1000

Here's an 86 Swedish market brochure
Thank you for uploading Swedish brochure. I have never seen that brochure before. And I live basically next to Sweden.
Absolutely! I'm hoping someone will help me buy some Swedish brochures I can scan and upload here - Swedish one was closest one in model # to Australian models and Sweden also sold an HDX model but they first came out in Sweden one month later than the Sprinter Carib and USA/CAN Tercel 4WD Wagons first came out!
Good luck! As I mentioned, I have never seen that brochure before. So I hope than someone will send you the remaining Swedish brochures. Actually UK models are closest to Australian models since both are RWD ones with 71hp 3A engines. But according to some sources, there are only 8 remaining Tercel 4wd left in UK.
According to your location, you are located in U.S. Do you want to build an Australian version? I can help you with that for sure.

Model code wise, ZWFDCC sounds more like ZWFDCQ. The only problem is that ZWFDCC is LHD, not RHD.
ZWFDS sounds more like MWFNS.
Yes if I were to get a ZWFDCC, I could use your help in converting it to a ZWFDCQ and RHD. But I'd want to turbo it with HKS JAPAN system for the Carib back in '85

You are right that both the UK model and AU models are RHD.... So they are identical in that sense.

ZWFDS sounds more like MWFNS. And since the ZWFDS came in a RHD model in addition to a LHD model, its RHD model matches the Carib in THAT sense though the Carib has the more complicated COOLER PIPING for RHD than any of the RHD Tercel models. Likewise, the North American Tercel models had the more complicated LHD system than any of the LHD Tercel sold elsewhere like the Bahamas and other parts of the Caribbean, Egypt, Europe, Chile, etc.
