Tercel carburetor jet question

Post by armyjunk »

Hello everyone, I have a question, I have the carburetor apart on my 86 Tercel. I just want to double check with someone, the primary main jet in the fuel is the one with the small orifice, Correct? The secondary main jet is the one with the larger orifice, Correct? these are the ones in the fuel bowl. Parts 97 and 101 on the drawing. I know I should have kept better track, I believe I have them correct but just want to check before I put it back on the car.

You are correct sir.

Small bore, small jet. Bigger bore, bigger jet.

Or you could have takza replace it with a pcv valve. :)

You don't need them there jets...they just use gas. PVC vapor all the way....

* that's polyvinylchloride for the uninformed
