Just use a 22re and a 5spd trans and make it RWD. Don't think its possibly to use a 20r/22r and keep 4wd

What if you used the transfer case from the truck...oh wait...you'd need a front diff...nevermind. I thought I had something there.

A t4wd body on a 'yota 4x4 rolling chassis would be sweet.

A lot of serious offroaders go TO the solid axles in the front?

too funny--not the picture, but the reactions! i didn't want to hate on it but i'm glad to see others are. i think it looks horrible but it's a pretty huge feat that someone actually pulled it off.

I had thought about that few years ago , only on Tercel 4WD body because of rear driveshaft to rear differentail "might work" I did measure the 22R ,only problem is the radaitor ,for now i don't have time and got rid off three 4WD and 0ne 2WD.

Looks like crap...but I'd bet it drives just fine in the rough stuff? Too bad he couldn't set the body a little lower though.
