Gas indicator light wont come on

I have gotten used to driving my terc until the low tank indicator light comes on. In the last 2 weeks every time i get low the light does not come on anymore. I know this is not an important function to this car but it is a luxory that i have grown accustomed to.
I was wondering if there was a fuse for this light? that have might burned out? Or perhaps the bulb? If its not to hard I wouldnt mind taking it apart to fix it.
I was just looking for some suggestions

easy test is to find the wire under the rear carpet, and up plug and ground it, with the key in the run potion. The fuel gauge wire will cause the fuel gauge to go to full, the light wire will cause the light to turn on. If light comes on the sensor in the tank needs to be cleaned or replaced (see the thread), if the light does not come on it needs a new bulb. It is a very small bulb that is easy to get to once you pull off the instrument cluster (only takes about 10 to 15 min to remove the cluster).

If the bulb is out, spend the extra few bucks and replace ALL instrument panel bulbs while you are in there. They're only 20 something years old.
