And you could really use a T4WD in Iowa. Decided to just head cross country thru Iowa one time to connect with another major highway...found out about those muddy back roads you guys have there.

yeah thats true, there are two dirt roads that turn to deep mud roads just around the corner from me. just another reason to hate it here.

As for my Iowa adventure...once I finally found the road I wanted...the cops came by where I was stopped by the road having a cup of coffee after my mud adventure...must have thought I did something wrong. Diddled around a while...then let me go.

thanks, yeah i do look there, but seems the best ones are always northwest or south.

cops didnt have much to do if they were hassling you. but thats how they are sometimes. oddly they seldom stop the brand new cars. the troopers are the ones i hate the most, just human ticket writing machines with an attitude problem for the most part.

not the same thing, but i saw a pretty nice looking 89 corolla dx all trac on ebay, but its an automatic. its also far away.
