Anyone tried to repair the A/c compressor?

I got the seals and orings to do it. Just wonder if anyone has tried to tackle it....

I'm also curious since I'm about to do the same thing. Where did you get your seal/o-ring kit?
It's a scientific fact that in a twin engine aircraft, when one engine fails there is always enough power in the remaining engine to make it all the way to the crash site.
