Seattle Toyota Parts help done right

Post by SynthDesign »

I know we all have our friends that work at Toyota to give us a hand with parts.

I'd like to introduce to my good friend and Toyota parts specialist.

Mike Stonebraker, Parts specialist for Toyota Lake City
13355 Lake City Way NE
Seattle, WA 98125
206-366-3100

He's a great guy and is about the only guy in the area willing to look up obscure vintage Toyota part #'s.
He also offers a small discounts to different Toyota forum and club members, so tell him who your with and where you found his info and he would be happy to try and find you the right part the first time.

Also I can't thank this guy enough. He's always been there when I need something and has always come through when he said he could. A real stand up and give a hand kinda guy!

Great parts guys are getting extremely rare. Most dealer parts guys go automatically into N/A mode when a 25 year old car needs parts from what I've seen.

He obviously has some experience and is not intimidated by actually looking something up and probably cares. A true asset. Too bad he will probably be the first one to get the ax should things get tough(er). Cheapening the labor to boost profits is todays strategy. Who cares if service quality goes in the toilet and people quit coming. As of late, I wouldn't be surprised if a counterperson accidentaly asked me if I wanted fries with that.

Rant over, sorry.

Congrats on your/our connection.

Did you get a home/cell phone#? haha

Great rand! No worries.

Of course I have his cell # on speed dial. I'm also the guy normally working on Mike's car which is a beautiful MR2 over 20 years old. He has a true love to keep the vintage Toyotas on the road and is in general an import motorsports and racing guy which is pretty rare in the OEM field.
