I found a good rear cargo cover today at the local yard. I do not need one but I know lots of people ask about them so I picked it to offer to the list.
It is from an '87 and it is black, good condition with a few scuffed corners and water stains on the bottom (and it needs cleaning). It has the cutout for the center brake light as used on the '85(?) and newer.
Make an offer, shipping should be about $15-20 to most places in USA. Or if you are close you can get it in person.
I also have a number of other parts, or can get them for you, so ask me if you can not find parts locally.
sweet i have been looking every whear and no luck except $140 for one at a classic shop. not going to happen thanks for looking and hpoe it is not to expecive
Any chance you made some measurements of it before selling it off? I'd like to try making one as a DIY project. Any thoughts on how to fab one of these bad boys? Without ever seeing or inspecting one for myself I'm at a bit of a loss here.

Good idea, I will make a tracing of the shape before I pack it up, and some detailed photos. I will mail them to you. If you make one, photo document that and put it in the repair guides. I have been meaning to do that with mine, which I still have, it is just real beat-up. It is just not a priority for me right now.
I was at the wrecking yard last week and saw a Toyota corolla wagon that someone had made a new rear cargo floor out of plywood (the part that covers the spare). It was an excellent job, it was all mahogany plywood, bevel routed edges, perfect fit, with metal hinges and clips on it to hold the jack handle and the lug wrench. All covered in black carpet, it was really nice. Maybe I will take some pictures of it next time I go.
