Here is a similar bar on a Brat in a JY in Chehalis, OR. Is this the same one so many of you PacNWst guys frequent?
Two pix - maybe it's salvageable and adaptable...

It's a post from 081009:
Place: "I-5 Auto and Truck Parts" I-5 Exit 71. 190 Estep Rd. Chehalis, WA 98532. It's your typical pull-your-own-parts yard, it gets a bit difficult finding your way around with the way it's setup.
Incidentally, if you know of someone with a Brat, mention the shell; apparently it's rare. I think these cars rusted even faster than a T _ _ _ _ l..

Build your own!
The second pic from the top first page is mine, and at this point it's outlived 3 tercels. And it's perfect for shopping cart bowling!
The Roo-Bar is a good idea but doesn't offer much protection. The best thing you can do for off-roading is make something that offers a better approach angle and covers the oil pan. A winch mount is a good idea too.

Re: offroad customization?
Not what traditionists would like, but I put mine on a Samurai frame. The body was rusted and I needed more support to offroad with. Stock engine and tranny, although I don't use the front driveshafts and go through the Samurai transfer case.
I do get looks and questions...You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

You have avout 12" between the body and the frame. Looks like turd.
Re: offroad customization?
4 inch angle iron bolted to body and welded to frame, plan to cut out bottom frame. Funny, I call it "Terdzuki".. Thanks for the reply.

I like the samuri look, it's ridiculous and it's something youd see out here.

Re: offroad customization?
The biggest problem with tossing a frame under a car is, there is NO such thing as a matching frame. Wheel base isnt all that matters.
when I did my trar ( truck/car) I build the frame fromt he ground up to follow the unibody rails almost exaclt, I had .5 inch gap between the floor board and the frame. It was far from perfect but I built it when I was 16 with a welder, and a grinder.

I cant stand it when a car is simply belted/welded to a frame.
