Re: '86 in West Vancouver, B.C.
Hello all!
I am the only owner of the '86 in West Vancouver, BC.
NO, I did not drive from Toronto to Vancouver and back. I have never driven this car across Canada or even beyond BC.
THE CAR HAS NEVER BEEN TO TORONTO OR TO ANY OTHER PROVINCE IN CANADA AND IT HAS NOT BEEN FURTHER NORTH THAN VANCOUVER.
I bought the car brand new from Downtown Toyota right here in Vancouver. The car has always lived in Vancouver.
I drove it down to California about 10 times to visit friends. It's a wonderful car for a highway drive.
Every time the roads were salted in Vancouver, I diligently washed the salt off the undercarriage and wheel wells. I am not a skiier so it has never been driven to snowy resorts in the winter. Regarding the question of rust, it has a few rusty spots but it is, in no way, rusted out!
I hope this clears up any confusion. Thank you, all!
