I wont lie, looking at the video I'd really say it's a fake. when the "blob" moves, the resolution/clarity of the "blob" looks much, much better then the rest of the image.

take for example the outlying pieces of the blob, they're all somewhat blurry and low grade quality. When the blob moves it looks pretty high quality, hinting at it being a fake.


Also googling turns up next to nothing except that video, so it really seems fake.

I dont know...the machine which is carrying the camera seems to move like a real sewer robot...auto focus seems realistic for that sort of thing too, and the flow of 'shitty' water seems also real...some mention of worm colony in the comments seems plausible, it could be that this is a normal occurence in the world of sewage, just something they dont want leaked (no pun intended)

Yuck!! Sewer bots are pretty cool, here we have ours all wired with cctv... I really pitty the fool in charge of watching this. I do try to make their life more interesting by flushing interesting things, smoke bombs, toy cars, etc...
