ToughTercel,

The only blue seats are the later style, your '83 SR5 is a different pattern color combo than the later ones. the seats are only $16.50 each, so you could replace both of them with the newer pattern for little money, or do you want to stay with the original style.

BTW, the road to Monte Cristo is not really drivable since the bridge washed out a number of years ago. You could only get a key to the gate if you had an active mining claim. But now even big 4x4s can not get through. We took mountain bikes several times up to the town, and forded the river. It is a fun ride. And yes the turn table for the old rail road still turns the last time I was there about a year ago. At the end of the old mining rail road they put a giant steel turntable to turn the locomotive around for the return trip down the mountain. The train, tracks and most of the buildings are long gone now. But the turn table survives.

ohh sorry , my 1983 4Wd is deluxe not SR5 , I convert my car from SR5 equipments like ,CLUSTER, ALL SEATS , STERRING WHEEL, MAG WHEELS and some newer version like change two mirror on each door, over head handles and more , anyway the seats I have now not sure what model year , you're might be right seem like 84 or newer, but as for the price seem good deal, if all complete seat (front/rear) for $50 or less is acceptable as long there no rips/tear or deep worn out , i know can't expect perfect because it 25 years old , Also the color my car is SILVER with black/gray interior which blue seat blend good , let me know what color and take pictures of front seat for me if you don't mind ,thank you

Also, my girlfriend just got her Nikon D60. I have no idea on the lens, but this is a great camera, so she can take pics while we're up there.

Synth and I refabricated 1990 Corolla seats to fit in my '86 It only took us several hours lol, but I got the seats for free. I was only sore for two days afterwards from trying to get the damn rivets off. It was a fairly simple task though. Good luck with your seats, I am sure that there is a set out there in great condition.

Yes I will likely have my daughter with me. Also I just contacted list member Logbear, he was out of town and not active on the list for a month. He said he and his son will be each bringing their T4wd to add to the group. That means 5 Tercels so far by my count.

We will drive right past his place on our way out from Pull-A-Part to the Mountain loop hwy, so he and his son will join us there (he works graveyard shift so he needs to sleep until 11 am anyway). I warned him if we do not see him at the hwy when we drive by about noon, I will drive the caravan up to his house and we will get him out of bed. :)

Alright, see you guy in the morning at The Arlington Pull-A-Part. I will have maps of the route for each driver. It was supposed to be sunny on Sat but it appears they have backed off on that forcast until late in the day. So bring good rain gear.

Thx for posting, Neu! Looks like a real fun time!

Lotsa stunning pics of forests, mountains, cliffs, glaciers, waterfalls, landscapes, etc. What's that place called?

I like the dude with a flask, pic #16, lol. Nice custom front bumper and brush guard on the red T4WD!

If you're lookin' just for pics of T4's, they're at 106-111, 147-149...

... but my faves are the five T4's all lined up in pics 165-168!! Very cool :D

I'll try to identify the tercels. The red one is synth's, mine is the light one with oregon plates, the other light one is Petros. The other two are people I didn't really know, but they were cool.

And yes, synth with his flask.

I have some pics of two different sets of different blue Tercel 4wd seats at the Arlington Pull-A-Part, one an '85, the other an '87 (they now have 6 tercel4wd available, including one SR5 with a factory sun roof!). In both cases of the blue seats, the driver's side was worn, but not badly. PM me your email address and I will send them. I have some pics of the meet to add here too in the next few days.
