205/50/15's will not fit!!! Installed on a 15"x6" w/ 40mm offset rim. 22.8 inch actual diameter.
Too wide(rubs lock to lock) too tall( rubs side of fender and sticks out.

Go to the wrecker and get some used 14" rims and then get some 195/75/14's as they fit great. there was jsut someone posting something like this the other day. Once again the search is your friend! It look like your mom know's how to use a search :) (I am assuming that she googled the tercel and found this site). That is probably the best 'referred' ever!

I stuck with the 13" rims, and use 185/80/R13. I really like them.

Those are getting rare and pricy, but great for off road. Not great for street handling.

yes those 13 ' are getting harder to find, few months ago , in WASHINGTON Seattle and other area Wal-mart use to sale biggest 13" are discountiue ,only 155/..R13 , so in Canada are still avaible WAL-MART have 175/80r13 while they last cost $39 each and Canadian tire (name of the store) still have 175 and 185/80R13 range from $42-50 each once they are gone , they're history so , when I heard about 13" fade away then I bought 4 tires to stock in my garage.
