Imagine where I was last week. I might have gone by tercel4wdrules last week except that I didn't see any Tercel 4wd's. I went to visit family in So Cal and got a little lost trying to find the Pearblossom Highway out of Barstow. I went over a pass that looks like one of the pictures in tercel4wdrules's post. I was going to add this to his post bit it got too large and sort of off track.
There was an intersection with a red light along the route where I got lost. A couple of people that had passed me a mile or so before it crashed into each other at this intersection. I went through the red light because of the snow fog but didn't get hit or hit anything, got lucky I guess. I was in the Saturn, tires with 95k miles on them so traction was a little iffy.
Not sure what highway I was on but I did end up on the Pearblossom, thanks to son's iPhone with GPS.

Re: Small world
Glad you found your way Keith!!!
It must be hard when you are not familiar with a certain area....
Why was traction a little iffy?
Were the tires rubbing on the wheels???
Never heard of the Pearblossom Highway.....
Hope you didn't run into Sasquatch, lol!!!!!
