A cool ad from the May 1983 issue of 4 Wheel & Off-Road... Shows some 13" LT Truck tires by BFGoodrich and many obscure sizes that I wish they would be willing to offer again..... :)

I've been meaning to actually call some tire companies, and really look into if they even make aggressive smaller tires anymore. I"m sure you can get BF to make some for you, but it'd be so spendy.

My local tire shops only carry "all terrain winter" for the tercel, and they AREN'T that aggressive, which is terrible.

I bought my tires during last winter, they're already bald in the front. I need to rotate.

according to Maxxis' website: http://www.maxxis.com/AutomobileLight-T ... eries.aspx they make this tire in a "185/14" size... works out to 25.5" diameter, which isn't bad if you have a small lift...

I just don't know where to get them...

Even if there's only a company in like..australia or europe that has them, THEY WILL SHIP them to you. Just pay enough, which is ...a LOT.

You can upgrade to 14" wheels and have a much greater choice of tires. I use some Kumho 60 series on mine and have done pretty well in the mud....still handles like a sports car on the road.

check the online tire sites? tirerack.com? etc
