Re: mods
Light bar.. either make your own, or bolt them to a roof rack. Lift.. Moog coil springs (oem replacement, while I was in there I did some monroe sensatracs), rear I did Monroe air shocks, air shocks bolt straight in just have to run air lines, and thats good for a fair amount of height.. like 3", front is good for 1.5-2", but the beauty is it all bolts in stock so its a solid non backyardish lift.. I lifted the front more recently by putting some rubber spacers from moroso I believe, that also stiffens up the front.. not so much body roll, the air shocks make the rear very stiff depending on how high you go. As soon as I get a set of 14" rims in my possesion Ill be up another 1" with 205/75R14's, I did notice with that size of tire Ill need a wheel spacer because hard lock the tires do touch the frame.. the plastic shroud looks like it will have to be removed or modified heavily.. Those are just some tires that my dads shop had laying around, you can google tire size calculator and punch in numbers till it gives you 2" bigger diameter that you are running now (good for 1" of lift) anyhoo, thats about it, if you want more info or pics email me at spaceman157@hotmail.com.
Im awesome
Re: mods
So my 14" escort rims finally arrived and now I need some rubber. Will a 195/75R14 tire fit on the tercel without too much rubbing? How do you figure that out anyways? Just measure it I guess
. I found some Cooper light truck tires that would look very nice on the tercel. Hopefully they will but I guess if it doesn't it will push up the air shock/Moog lift that I was planning to do in the spring (the same one that ptothej and a few others have done).
And for a roof light bar I am just going to throw some lights on a roof basket like synthdesign did (I think that I may have even ordered the same one).

Re: mods
Anyone??? Besides the 195/75R14's I was also looking at some 195/70R14's or some 185/65R14's. I wouldn't mind getting the wider ones. It's a toss up between:
the Motomaster SE's for $380
http://reviews.canadiantire.ca/9045/003 ... eviews.htm
or the Cooper Discorerer LT's for $600,
http://www.coopertire.com/html/products ... w=75&rd=14
I just need to know which ones will fit. Can I just find out the tire dimensions and 'fit' a cardboard template on the wheel to see if it will fit? (by lining up the center of the wheel and the center of the template and turning the tire to see if there is rubbing?, guess it will have to do a width and height template)
Thanks

Can't help you with the tyres but with those Monroe Airshock some members have put the airhoses and lines facing towards the dif so they don't get fouled up by muck off the tyres, you may want to do a search for this - I have a feeling Takza has used these shocks before.
