So - a "little-used" 3AC or 4AC, etc, because of their age (and regardless of mileage) are going to be pretty unobtainable from over there? Maybe 10-15 years ago, but unlikely now?

Yeh, it'll be pretty hard. I got a quote around 1200 for a reman 3a.
