the 4ac is easiest. The 4ace (fuel injected) can be done with more effort (custom header, install all EFI equipment, and either go distributorless ignition (costly kit or junk yard DIY) or cut a clearance hole in the firewall for the distrib. There may be a few other possibilities, but they become even more work.
There was also an injected Celica-S engine from '83-86 that has EFI that is easier to adapt, but it is harder to find.
The other (and I think easier) option is to rebuild the 3ac for more power, with Weber or even adapt a TBI fuel injection system to it. Much easier to make everything fit.
