New roof mounted lights!

Post by graphiteblimp99 »

I have recently installed off-road lights, I have one more thing to put in and then they work but I couldn't wait to show the cosmetic fine points. Though you will notice a few things that still need to be done like tucking away lights. Eithere way, I hope you enjoy.

It looks rickety but it's actually really sturdy. It's a heavy duty aluminum bar that is adjustable, I can send you a link to the guy I got it from. The mounts that keep the bar on the rain gutters are steele and they work realy well, everything on it is adjustable which makes a great fit for a tercel since nothing is made stricktly for them anymore.

Oh yeah, it actually is from a cop car. It was incredibly hard to install and the fog lights I bought for it suck so I might get rid of it. It looked good before off-roading wore it loose. I can confirm that it was not made for the tercel.

hahaha yea i new it looked familiar, if you have access to a welder, id fix on some brackets and get that on their good. a friend of mine had one a little bigger than that one on a corolla all-trac and he hit something while going over a bump and it went under his car and tore it up big time, just a tip. the lights on it look sick though, its good to have some amber ones in there

yeah, it'll be hard welding aluminum and steel together, I'm really thinking about getting rid of it and mounting better amber fog lights to the bumper itself.
