Needing parts for 1987 Tercel 2WD wagon

Post by Rumrumm »

I am in need of (A) fuel sending unit (the item with a float & electrical connector... AutoZone and others label the vent/pickup tube assembly as a "sending unit"!!!) and (B) the fuel filler neck pipe that goes from the gascap down to the gas tank. Also need plastic rain gutter "trim" pieces and a source for upholstery to fit the factory seats. Thanks! Bill

Junkyard? That'd be the best place to start if the shops dont have it.

Zero success in checking with local salvage yards, or even the Toyota dealer. And places like AutoZone, Advance, NAPA, etc., all fail to offer the sending unit, thus my posting here... Guess I could have the filler pipe sandblasted to remove the crud & corrosion, but unsure of how to seal the bare metal to prevent further problems. Thanks... Bill
