Rust free body!!!! 1.5 litre engine.5 speed gearbox with extra low gear(total of 6 gears). New brakes, water pump, rad, clutch , intake manifold gasket, exhaust. Not pretty or perfect, but clean. Bush bar, light bar with lights, roof rack. This vehicle runs great, cheaper than a quad and street legal. Needs a few minor things to finish off. Lots of fun , good inexpensive dependable transportation that loves snow.

'87 Deluxe 2WD wagon, 5-spd, 330,000km, owned since '93.
I was the fortunate buyer of this Tercel. This car was orginally from N.Carolina.It has the very rare "Leatherneck" paint and trim, which Toyota dedicated to the Airforce base there.I have gone through the entire car and is virtually rust free.I intend to repaint it the original colors. If anyone has any info on this particular trim, please let me know

Guess your car trekked all over the USA, travelling from base to base?
Incidentally, is your nom de Net a reference to age? Do I have a rival for being the Ancient One?

Congrats on the car, and glad you made it to the forums here. I had assumed that was a custom paint job, and had no idea it was a rare paint job by Toyota...that is very neat. Hope you enjoy the car. What else do you keep in your stable? (ie. what do you auto-cross with? )

I have an 85 MR2,stipped out and caged that I use for AutoX,time trials and hillclimbs..........I have been a diehard ol'school Toyota fan ever since I can remember.Last year I sold an absolutely rust free 81 Celica(big regret). For an absolute fun factor,it's hard to beat the MR2,but the T4wd will be an absolute blast at RallyX
