MotoRazr V3XX

I've been carrying a V3 Razr for over 2 years now. I really like the phone, flaws ands all, and I've become comfortable with the feel of it. I wanted to get a Razr2 when they were released, but besides the high price right now, I can't stand the feel, or the only color AT&T carries (mahogany?).

I wasn't interested in doing an upgrade, simply because I hate being tied to anything for another 2 years. However, since our son hasn't drowned a cell phone in quite some time, my wife wanted to get him a nice one for Christmas. We went looking, and Wal-Mart had the Razr V3XX free with a 2 year upgrade. That would have been fine, but my wife picked up a Sony-Ericsson Walkman slider someplace, and just had to get him one. Since that would either involve $400 or an upgrade, we all took the plunge. Now I have my new V3XX for free, and the great thing is that it fits the cases I already had, uses the same chargers (I must have 8 or 10 of them), and after I downloaded the updates, I can use the USB cable and software I already had.

So now, better volume and sound quality, better camera, micro-SD memory upgrades available up to 8GB, and it feels almost just like my good old Razr. If only the menus were the same, but you can't get everything.
