How do I remove the front driver seat without unbolting the bracket that holds it to the body? It slides forward but catches on something and I can't figure it out!
Thanks

I just removed my front seat to clean all the junk and crud out from under the seats. I had to clean the carpets because they really started to small. The seats are easy to unbolt (four 14 mm bolts is all you need to remove), why to you want to leave the tracks bolted down to the floor?
Besides I am not sure there is a way to leave the tracks bolted in and remove the seat (either there is a rivet or a bent tab at the end of the track).
It only takes about 4-5 min to remove the seat with the tracks. Once out you can flip the seat over and see what the issue with the tracks.
good luck.
