Love those Tercell 4x4 wagons but they sure suffer from road noise.

It is possible it is wearing out at 60k miles, depending how much city driving you do and how hard you are on it (starting on lots of hills, rough roads, etc).
You might also check the auto adjuster at the top of the clutch pedal is working okay (not over tightening the cable), and the cable is completely relaxing when the pedal is up. It might be possible the cable was misinstalled but still worked until you had 60k miles worth of wear on it.
Is it possible that oil is leaking on it at high speed? If so you will have to find the source and stop it. The chatter sometimes indicates oil on the clutch. If it is a seal, the trans has to come out anyway, you might as well replace at least the disk (if not the whole clutch assy.)
Good luck,

Good luck,
i am leaking oil
i checked the valve cover , fuel pump and distributer , not from those.
seems to be coming from the rear seal area , the rubber boot on the inner end of the driverside axel is wet along with the bottom of the tranny.
its also wet where the metal plate with plastic on the bottom (between engine and housing) touches the tranny.
i replaced the rear seal when i did the clutch
something must have gone wrong.

Might be your PCV valve is stuck?
i'm sure its not gear oil mostly because it does not have that gear oil smell
i will check the PCV valve
i just lent the car to my kid so it may be a few weeks
wish i had thought of that
