Here is a pic of the front CV shaft with the lift, so definitely there is room to go higher
If I put new gas charged strut cartridges in then based on what I have read here I will gain about another 1/2 to 1 inch in the front. But no one had them in stock locally and wanted to see what it looked like so used the old ones.

I picked up a pair of Nissan pathfinder rear springs for my next tercel lift project. They look like they will go in the back no problem, may have to be shortened a little. I'll try to post when I get around to doing the mod. That may be a while tho.

i have an 84 with tj rear springs front and rear which are uncut. i simplly extend the the strut post up and was able to can 6" of lift in the front. the sway bar was an issue because it caused the camber to be way off. but with some modifications to it the cambe is is fine.

Gotta watch the ends of the swaybars with a lift. They are made to take only so much angle before you will start to put a sideload on that thin end piece....which goes into a heat treated forged bar. Metal fatigue.
I wouldn't use poly bushings on the end...you'll need all the flex you can get at this joint. Think rubber?

i don't know how much stress there is. the sway bar had to be cut at the cent and extended about 5" the mounting braket tot the frame also has to me moved.
i will try to get pics up soon i will worn all thought they are not pretty nor is the terkel. i paid 40 bucks for it and it had been sitting in a field for 3 yrs.
Looking to lift my 83 Tercel 4x4 wagon.
Can someone sum up the blog in one new post to clarify the lift parts and process?
Plus, can anyone answer the alignment problem?
Thanks
