So, I'm getting another Terc. The 85 I was talking about. We haggled them down to $100. lol.
I'll either be rebuilding or replacing the engine, so heres the big question-
Could the 3-speed deal with the extra grunt from the 4AC? Or would that be begging for problems?
I need to know ASAP what you guys think, so I can let my folks know what to buy. We're going to get this one running as rapidly as possible. Otherwise.... F'ing covenence..... Ugh.....

From my experience, the automatic is the more durable Tercel transmission. I wouldn't hesitate to put a 4AC in the Terc.

agreed the auto can definetly handle it..... but the manual would be more fun with the new power plant.

just keep it well mantained and it will hold up
tercel 4wd custom suspension, under drive pulley, vented brakes, cold air intake, and plenty more to come
