OK this is the worst video ever, mostly because of the quality and the filming but it was from a buddies cellphone - I didn't even know he took it but thought I'd post it just in good fun.
I was sliding the tercel around some pylons (tires actually) in a slippery parking lot a few weeks ago and he just sent me this video so I posted it.
We sort of made a "drift course" out of the tires, doing it in the tercel felt like cheating, its just too easy with 4wd You can hear (and see for a second) a couple of the 240sx's that were there (those cars are where my true love lies, the tercel is my winter-only car.. sorry guys). Anyhow, those guys were jealous of how quick and tight the tercel could hammer off that course and they were fighting over who gets to sit shotgun next. It was hilarious. I got some "I never knew 62bhp could be so fun". It's hilarious beating out cars with several hundred hp at something like a 62hp station wagon. haha.
yar.
If I had my say, 1980's LP5000 Quattrovalvole Countach, Anniversary Edition in Metallic Silver paint with Black Leather interior. 400-some-odd RWHP rear-engine goodness. Then we start doing mods to the engine of course.
Thats just one of the cars I want... The 240SX's are RWD, correct? I know the old Dat's 240's were. Those things were MONSTERS if you put good carbs on them. I had the pleasure of being traumatized around a mountain road in one.
I haven't watched the video yet. My connections sloppy right now. I'll try later.

Haha! Looks like good fun. Sometimes when it snows here in Victoria, I leave my Kumho Ecsta Supras on and have fun in big parking lots (much like what you did). I find my winter tires give to much traction, and I can't slide around (probably a good thing).
