I would say that most of the active posters in the old Yahoo group joined here and I wouldn't know about the rest.

Sweet, it comes up when you search as one word now! I don't think it comes up if you seperate the words though.

Hey icE...

Would it help with the search engines to have a couple of paragraphs on the front page that contained certain separated "trigger" words such as Tercel...Toyota...4WD...repair...parts...camping...handling...wheels...etc.

Probably a better list of words exists?

Not sure quite how search engines work...but it seems they most easily find single key words on the front page?

Can search engines "read" text done in flash?

I found it early on when trying to decide if I should buy the body and engine to unite in holy matrimony as my daily driver.

It surfaced when I used the MSN search-engine.The biggest problem I see is that most people will use whole words on their search and not "have~a~clue" about our abreviations. ;)

I did a Google search that set me to another forum. From that forum was a link to this one. Sweet!

i found this place through gasolinefumes.com or something like that and i found that site from Board.tercelonline.com and tercelonline.com
those are really good sites as well
i have found more valuable info on gasoline fumes than tercelonline though TO.com needs more of the older tercel enthusiasts liek you guys
you shoudl check it out over there. the only performance upgrade on that site is a weber carb... until i started my interest with the 86 of course... :D

I bought the car, went to altavista, (I take pride in being one of the few who don't use google) and typed in somethign like
+"toyota tercel" +forum +4wd
or something similar....can't get it to find it now though....
anyway sorted through the meaningless junk, found one called "tercel4wd.com" and laughed myself sillly when I saw the lifted one on the front page! Then felt very sad when the "history" link didn't produce any results heh
