The more I look at your car - the luckier I know you are...
Sooo Clean - and AC - and a sunroof...
The engine may work !
Clever work on the ignition module - if I fry my again, I'll have to remember it.
And FREE !
The last sentence certainly gives you some room to move.
Please continue the resurrection narrative.

I did a little on the tercel today.
I was able to locate the missing exhaust bolt, in a pile of melted timing cover and water pump belt, and got it installed. The motor starts and runs ok.
I filled the radiator and water is leaking from the bypass at the themostat housing.
I started the car with the radiator cap off and it shot all of my water back out the radiator. Exhaust is getting into the cooling system, blown head gasket? (I hope) My luck has been good so far.
I am hoping to pull the head later this weekend.
