Just got my Tercel tinted today, no more sitting in a fish tank for me! Now I can pick my nose at red lights with out offending anyone!
While it was in my shop, I removed my PIAA 40 Series fogs from under the bumper where they were taking a beating off road. Next, I installed a pair of Hella 500 Series 6 3/4" Round Amber on top of the bumper where they belong. My god, they are bright!
Went for a drive after I put the fogs on to aim them on my favorite back road. On the way back, I could see deer grazing the the field 75 yards off the side of the road!!!

In the US its a state-state basis. In Colorado, you can go as dark as you want on everything back from the drivers windows as long as the drivers windows are untinted. Essentially a "limo" exception. If you do all windows, I believe 30% light admission is acceptable. In fact, if you even touch the front windows, the backs are instantly limited.
Though I've never heard of a ticket for this. And there are several locals who'll do it under the table.

When I lived in Texas, you could tint anything behind the driver with 5%, and the fronts couldn't be darker than 30%. In Arkansas, it's 20% in the rear and 30% on the front sides.
We had a black Suburban at the dealership for a trade appraisal a while back. It was riding on 24" wheels, with 5% all around... including a full windshield tint, top to bottom.
The tint is 13% Charcoal all the way around with a 13% sun-strip across the top of the windshield.
The law in Ontario is that you cant have any colored film on the windows directly to the left and right of the driver and on the windshield below the factory glair line. Other than in Toronto, the tint regulations are not strongly enforced here...it just seems to be up to the officers discretion.

I like the foggers........I need to do something with the lights on my car, I do a ton of my driving at night, and on dark country roads. I guess you get accustomed to the low level of light the factory head lights put out, but a longer reach and brighter field would be so much nicer !!

Just a pair of 55W driving lights helps a lot.
Give a boy a gun-give a biatch a cell phone-and pretty soon you almost got yourself a police state.

takza, this is off topic relative to the post, but I just have to say welcome back... to that wonderful little guy in the green suit. Always liked him, and happy to see him here again 'beside' you. And keep those quotes coming - always enjoy reading them - some have been very thought provoking.
I always have to laugh when I see other Silver tercs because they look just like mine and I almost never see these cars around. So it's pretty strange.
It's even stranger to see one with tint, I do like it though. I like those fogs as well. Nice-nice.
