I have browsing the forums catching up (of course!) when i came across this post: '87 SR5 in Toronto

Small world I guess! I spotted my car for sale on Autotrader.ca i did not know he was advertising it on Craigslist too!

Considering he was asking $2200 for it, I think I did ok getting it for only $1200!

I paid $1200 for a fairly rusty car with 190K on it...and had to talk the guy down from $2K....you did good.

With good maintenance you could manage 100K miles with it yet.

His name was John, he was the first and only owner of the car too!

Bought the 87 in 88 for about... I think $7k or $8k? I can't remeber what mom said....

Bought the 84 in 200...1 I think... For $450. Bought the 86 in 2003 or so for about $500 I believe.

To be honest, I would have payed the full $2200 for this car....I love it sooo much!

I got mine for $350 Australian with a blown engine. I had the 4AGE sitting there ready to go in it anyway...

I'm considering a Subaru SVX drivetrain.... 230HP at the crank. Hehehehehe.... Throw a low-pressure BiTurbo setup in there.... Just one thought. Idea for a lowered Terc.... For a lift though.... 22R maybe?
